What People Saying About E-commerce

Staying on top of what’s going on in the ecommerce industry, as well as learning about new business models, strategies, and tactics, is important to success. Or maybe you run your own eCommerce store and want to improve your Google ads, your social media strategy, or your conversion rates to increase online sales.
Online sales in the United States have surged in recent weeks, after shelter-in-place measures enacted in March shuttered brick-and-mortar stores throughout the country. While the shutdowns immediately altered how people spent their money, the patterns have continued to shift as the weeks have gone on, new data shows, shaped by waves of panic buying and even payouts of government aid. The latest bump in online spending came after the government sent out stimulus payments to tens of millions of American households beginning on April 11.
Many of us have been forced to take our shopping habits online during lockdown, and while stores have been shuttered, many internet traders are flourishing. The government of Dubai is betting the trend continues as it prepares to open a new free trade zone for e-commerce named "Dubai Commercity," which will provide a base for online retailers. The 3.2 billion AED ($870 million) development, adjacent to Dubai International Airport, is billed as the first of its kind in the region. The site is a joint venture between two state-owned enterprises -- the Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) and property firm Wasl -- and the developers say the coronavirus pandemic has spurred rather than stalled their progress.
